Our Next hike will be on Saturday 11/14/09. We will be doing the Desert Park Loop hike in the McDowell Sonora Preserve. This is a 5.5 mile round trip hike with an elevation change of about 500 ft.
This is an easy hike with only mild inclines. The trail goes through beautiful Sonora Desert vegetation of Sahuaros, Cholla, Palo Verde and Mesquite trees.
